Ada hal lucu ketika saya mengikuti tutorial pertama saya di NUS. Jadi, saya mengambil mata kuliah Singapore, Asia, and American Power di Departement of Southeast Asian Studies. Alasannya simpel, modul tersebut adalah satu-satunya modul yang paling HI di departemen ini. Haha. Akhirnya tanpa berpikir panjang saya mengikuti kelas ini hingga sekarang.

Wow! I was just enjoying so much the camp I had last weekend in Pulau Ubin. Even though the place wasn’t as exciting as many camp site I have visited in Indonesia, being together with these people and experiencing many amazing stuff with amazing tutor was memorable thing for me.

It is really out of plan that I would spend my saturday nite walking around many places here in Singapore. Haha, thanks to Mas Dani and Mas Nicko. Both are Indonesian living here. They are kindy being our guide to explore another part of Singapore I havent visited yet.

So, here we came to the food court in business center of Tanjong Pagar. I dont know the name, but it was just totally great. I mean, i have gone to the hawker center in China Town and this one is quite the same. However, there some reasons that makes this place another recommended unique culinary spot for new comer.

Dont take for granted the title of this picture. What I mean is that this is the place where I and TF Scholars often visit to watch the concert. However this isnt merely watching concert since this is also the means to hangout together. Despite the pose in this picture is weird, I just like it somehow=)

So, the thing is that my hobby in Jogja coming to cultural events including music concert has come out here in Singapore after I found good friends to go with. Haha

After watching brass instrument performance only two days ago, tonight I was coming to string instrument concert. For me it was such a mandatory to watch the maestro of string musician playing violin and its family. Therefore, I have put a schedule in my agenda to watch the Exxonmobile Campus Concert: William Barton and the Orave String Quartet long time before.

Chinese Orchestra is clearly origined from the mainland China. It is not an old culture as we did find with western orchestra. We should traced back to ancient China indeed to get the root of this developing culture.

Wow, I just love this nights since it is the first time I watch music concert here in Singapore. Actually there are some interesting events tonight from Welcoming Tea, Comedy Drama, and the concert it self. However, It was just go this way that I finally go to this concert which I think is the best choice I made. So, there we go, we went to the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.
