Dear Readers,

My name is Bela, a junior researcher in the Centre for Southeast Asian Social Studies, Gadjah Mada University. Coming from background study on International Relations, I am focusing myself on security studies, regionalism, and peace and conflict studies. I have a great interest in learning cultures and new experiences that I always spend my spare time taking traditional dancing courses, learning Gamelan and a bit of Violin. I put my eyes on city’s cultural event schedule so that I won’t miss every single cultural performance I’ve been keenly on. Every time I’ve got chances, I will grab my backpack and go for traveling alone or with my friends. One thing I will regret to miss every week is watching football. I am a big fan of Spanish National Team and Chelsea FC. In the absence of those events, I will be glad to involve in activities concerning youth, peace and leadership. Otherwise, I will pack my clothes and go back to my hometown to have a quality time with my family or just hang out with my friends.

This blog is about what I have mentioned above. Life is amazing journey you only experience once. Someday I want to look back and see that I am living this life doing things I am passionate about with the most important people in my life.
